So much of how we think about church is shaped by our experiences that it can be easy to loose focus. Church becomes a begrudging duty, a weekly worship top-up, a Bible lecture: in short some form of club or activity for the dutiful Christian. During the weekend we’re going to look at how God views his church: an extraordinary community, a temple filled with the Holy Spirit, and yet a very ordinary family of sinners, foolishness to the world.
