Welcome to the brand new website of Christ Church Derby, a new church launching in October 2010 in the centre of Derby.
Christ Church is being planted by St Alkmunds Church in Duffield and a small core group is currently meeting to plan and pray for the new church. We’re keenly aware that what we’re hoping and praying towards is impossible without God. That’s why we need your prayer support. We’ve built this website to keep our prayer partners informed about what we’re hoping to see God do in our city. We’ve also built this website, to challenge you. If you feel that God is challenging you to get involved please get in touch with us and we’d love to tell you more. Finally, if you know someone else who would be interested in our new church plant, please pass this website address onto them.
As there are different types of learners we’ve tried to present the information about the new church in as many different formats as possible. As well as this site, we’ve produced a video that you can see on the home page of this site or on Vimeo
